(1) oh, that's a good oneMLGnom wrote: 3b6q29
Just to inform you guys, you can now skin backgrounds for widescreen resolutions, yes I mean pause, fail etc. (The safest should be 1366x768 resolution). But be careful with it, and always check how it will look in 4:3. Or as alternative if you are going to post your skin at forum, make 2 versions of it. (1)
Like I said before, in nearest days I will start testing everything from beginning and will provide any new informations. ^.^ (2)
Yes, now we are able to put widescreen background. (probably in beatmaps too). If you use 1024x768 playfield, it will be resized to fit any widescreen resolution.Garygoh884 wrote: 1f51y
That works! I wonder if we could be able to make playfields widescreen...
options and lobby has been removed. Instead of them you can see your menu-background if you are er.Zeolith wrote: q613p
options-background, lobby-background and matchsetup-background doesnt work :C
seems like you already have a "templateskin" folder. Sometimes when I re-extract skins thru osk, the new folder goes inside the folder, so you have a Skins\templateskin\templateskin directoryWojtek wrote: 6nd4l
seems templateskin.osk linked in this topic is corrupted (do not open correctly as zip file).
skin extraction process same as beatmap extraction.JeMhUnTeR wrote: 605c39

Inside thCtC[RF49].oskinstead (sample: http://puu.sh/1JNDx)
+ thCtC[RF49]
|-- applause.wav
|-- button-left.png
|-- etc...
Inside thCtC[RF49].oskit will give
applause.wav
play-unranked.png
etc...
+ thCtC[RF49] <-- .osk nameinstead
|--+ thCtC[RF49]

Maybe next time check skin folder first before you post something that will confuse me? :<chibi2ki wrote: 6k171u

All you can do with sliders is in skin.ini part.Akeipoid VM-01 wrote: 3l4z3t
Something that's been bothering me when I make a skin are the slider tracks is there a way to edit them at all or does that not exist?
(I mean like adding gradients glows etc I know I can edit the color base and type in the skin.ini)
Shame that would be such a nice feature to have :/MLGnom wrote: 3b6q29

So no, you can't do any gradients etc. :/

Aah, such a nice tutorial. Helped me with creating my own skin soooo much! >3<
But I don't really get why it says you can't do countdowns horizontally.. (made one myself and it works perfectly..) o-o
Here is a screenshot of the countdown (yh, it's terrible, but who cares.. D:), since I can't really explain how it works.. xD *sucks at english*
Haha. :b (Wanted to post this quite a while ago, but kinda forgot about it... xD)MLGnom wrote: 3b6q29

Soon I will continue with updates, please wait patiently. <3peppy wrote: 6w4l42
Double resolution skinning is now ed. Simply provide files with @2x suffix as you normally would. You still need to provide a standard resolution version too.
Example:
hit300g.png (300x300)
[email protected] (600x600)
High resolution sprites are used for resolutions 1600x and higher.
<3 but is there still no way to skin multiple resolution backgrounds? that would solve screen ratio issues.MLGnom wrote: 3b6q29
HD skinning is here!

Why would you need this? You know there is few different aspect ratios and if you would like to make background for every of them it would take some pointless space... especially if someone is using only one.JeMhUnTeR wrote: 605c39

It's kinda hard to make it the same as SD without original work file.Jenny wrote: 6l5x6f
Question: Is there any way to properly turn an SD skin (normal resolution) into a HD one (doubled resolution) without the .psd files? (Talking about the image files here, not the skin.ini)
