Gulano Cup #5 was a 1v1 double-elimination osu!mania 4K tournament hosted by danar and Revv-. The tournament was open to all players from Indonesia who had not participated in the osu!mania 4K World Cup. The tournament featured a wildcard map gimmick, where players may submit maps into the "wildcard" pool for a chance for it to be picked during the tournament. It was the fifth instalment of the Gulano Cup series.

These rules are in effect for the entirety of the Gulano Cup #5 to ensure that the tournament runs as smoothly as possible. Upon contributing and/or ing into the tournament, all people involved with Gulano Cup #5 (including staff and players) are assumed to be aware of and understands all of these rules. These rules are enforced fairly based on the principles of logic and common sense by all Gulanova staffs.

Qualifier procedure 5s1y2u

• The referee will remind players about 15 minutes via Discord before the scheduled lobby starts.
• The lobby will start when all players have entered, or 10 minutes have ed from the scheduled time.
• Players will have to play all six Qualifier stages in order. After all stages have been played, players will be given a 2-minute break before they go on their second Qualifier attempt. Playing this second run is not mandatory, but recommended.
• The best score from each stage will be taken as the qualifier score.

• The referee will remind both players about 15 minutes via Discord before the match starts.
• Players may play up to two warm-up maps in the lobby before the match (one from each player).
• After the warm-up, both players will have to do a !roll. The player with the higher roll number has the right to choose to ban or pick first following the ABBA format. For example, If player A chooses to pick first, then player B will get the first ban, followed by player A's ban and finally player A can choose a pick. The winner of the roll is guaranteed to get the first protect.
• Players will take turns choosing maps until a winner is determined. If both players only need 1 more point to win the match, then a tiebreaker map will be played.

• No external sensitive topics are allowed unless they are related to this event.

• Players are allowed to send their own map of choice to the referee to be played as a warm-up map before the match starts.
• Warm-up maps may be sent to the referee through DMs, Discord, directly in the room, or any other media without restriction.
• Warm-up maps may not exceed 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
• Maps that are present in the corresponding stage's mappool may not be picked as a warm-up map.
• Warm-up maps must be a 4K osu!mania map.

• Each player is required to send 4 osu!mania 4K maps of their choice, all no shorter than 10 seconds and no longer than 4 minutes, through this submission form.

• If one of the players disapproves to play using the wildcard gimmick, the wildcard mappool will be rendered unavailable for the duration of the match.
• Upon being picked, wildcard maps will be randomly selected based on the results of the submission.
• Wildcard maps that have been randomly selected cannot be used again in the future matches.
• Each player may only pick up to 1 wildcard map per match.
• The Wildcard system follows from the first batch, then followed by the next batch, which means that the later the batch, the less likely it is to be picked.
• If a player does not submit the wildcard to the form, the player is disqualified.

• Players will be considered to have forfeited the match if they do not show up until 15 minutes after the scheduled match time without any further information.
• Players who failed to show up will have to negotiate for a late reschedule and present their arguments as to why they were not present in their scheduled match time, but players who are present have the right to take the win by default.
• If both players are absent, the higher seed gets to win the match by default. However, it is permissible for both players to apply for a reschedule and cancel the win by default designation up to a maximum of before the next showcase round.
• The win by default mechanic is not applicable in the Grand Finals. Both grand finalists are given the right to delay their Grand Final match for up to 1 week, and if no consensus is reached until then, the prize pool will be automatically given to the player who is present by 80%. If both of the grand finalists are not able to play at all, the prize pool will be cancelled entirely.

• All players must schedule before Saturday. If it is past Saturday, please the referee, prioritising those who are active at that time.
• If a player is absent for more than 10 minutes in the scheduled lobby, the player is considered absent from the lobby and is required to confirm rescheduling with the referee (if there is no response from the referee then there is no schedule at that time).
• Players are disqualified if they do not play the qualifier until 1 hour before the mappool showcase.

• The scoring system uses Score v2, Head to Head (No Fail has no effect).
• Protected maps cannot be banned.
• Mods that are allowed: Mirror, Hidden, Fade In, and Flashlight.
• Each player has the right to call a 1-minute timeout 3 times.
• If the player does not choose a map for 1 minute, the timeout will be used.
• If the player is not ready after choosing a map, the timeout will be used.
• If the timeout is up and still has not chosen a map, then the pick is given to the opponent.
• If the timeout is up and still not ready after choosing a map, then the point is given to the opponent.
• If there is no response from the player for 10 minutes, then the opponent gets to win by default.
• Once per match, players will be able to call for an abort during a map before 30 seconds have ed should technical issues occur.
• The timing of the abort call (and whether the abort call is valid or not) will be determined by records such as the IRC log or the livestream feed and the referee's discretion.
• Players are free to discuss upon obstacles such as connection issues, power outages, and the likes of it to the referee and their opponent at any time.
• Exclusive to the Grand Finals, players participating in the Grand Final match are required to showcase the tiebreaker map after the match ends.

• Upon submitting a reschedule, players are required to inform an exact date and time for their new match to the referee.
• The new match time must fall into a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday of their corresponding stage with a deadline of 16:00 on Monday.
• Exceptions to the reschedule provisions only apply if there are objective force majeure circumstances that befall the players/one of them.
• Reschedule can be done on weekdays if there is an urgency in the form of force majeure circumstances that befall one of the players.

Any actions that are contrary to applicable regulations, after a fair assessment based on logic and common sense, will be prosecuted by the staff by giving sanctions in accordance with the rules or objective considerations to violators of the rules.
