Death-toll is about 100 a year and that's just in the US, where hospitals are generally decent. I don't want to know how many infants die from that shit in africa or asia.

I'm actually one who forsn't care about a low number of deaths per year like that. 100 from a surgical procedure? That's it? It'ssuprisingly low.
Im not sure g up for free pain compares, but if all your memories ate wiped then it doesn't actually matter. We could theoretically every night be in excrutisting pain and then forget the whole deal the nect mornung every night for our lives.

It's 100 needless deaths, thats the point. 100 grieving families for nothing.
Railey, you're not getting the point of it. If hypothetically as you dream every night you were in pain and then forget all of it the morning after, nothing changes from you in that situation to you now. Whether or not it occurs has no relevance to how you feel right now.
100 is actually a small number too unimportant to count. I'd like to see that compared to other surgical procedures. In a world of 7 billion+ or 400 million(is it that now?) in the united states, it's of no consequence.
