This is old and it sucks deal with it

The osu! Stream Compilation made with love (or possibly hate) by Natteke, is one of the most challenging beatmaps osu! has to offer. I'm here to blah blah blah... and here is your guide.

[Preparation]

- Right before my record run, I had a mocha. I thought it was decaf but something tells me that it was actually caffeinated. If you have any available, drink something caffeinated. Keep a glass of water nearby as well.
- During breaks it may be tempting to pause and extend them, but it's also possible you will lose some concentration during that pause. Make sure that your breaks are just the right length.
- Play a couple maps before your attempt. I was playing for four hours before I decided to start my run, and right before you start play something that is in the compilation. I advise Banned Forever or Himiko.
- Know your facts!
HP Drain - 6
Circle Size - 4
Approach Rate - 8
Overall Difficulty - 7

LKs - Freedom - 130 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *
The first beatmap in the stream compilation is barely any challenge at all as one might expect. The only thing to look out for is the 16-note stream a little after halfway through in which there is a minor jump. Just keep the rhythm while you point your cursor at each note.

supergarlic - Shoreline RD - 135 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: **
There are several challenges presented by this part, mainly involving the jumpy sliders. Hold each slider until the next note must be hit to make sure that you don't get any 100s. (or at worst, 50s) There are also two circumstances where four beats are placed in a diamond and you must move your cursor slightly faster than usual, but Z and X must be hit at the same rate.

AngelHoney - dreamencdischarger - 140 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *
This part of the stream compilation really isn't a problem and doesn't need to be discussed any further.

Alace - Snow Storm - 145 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: *
Again, this is not really a problem. The last 5 notes are slightly further apart from each other than the others. Oh no.

soulfear - Seeker - 150 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **
Well, here is a place where some problems could start showing up. Streaming 150 BPM isn't really that hard, but make sure you do it properly because the sliders are there to mess things up. Make sure you keep the rhythm properly to avoid mass amounts of 100s or 50s, which could lead to a miss.

ignorethis (DJPop) - U.N. Owen was Her? - 157 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **
The streams aren't really a problem here but you might want to practice a bit beforehand to make sure that you get the rhythm DJPop follows. Also make sure you can hit the notes that go back and forth. Your choices are either putting your cursor right in the middle or going back and forth. I usually pick the second one.

lepidopodus (dksslqj) - Senpuu no Mai - 160 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **
Now the streams can be considered a bit fast, and you'll want to make sure that you can hit the sliders that go in a row properly.

Henkie - Red Zone - 165 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: ***
The HP Drain shouldn't be a problem because of all the new combos, but there are a couple more "back and forth" notes. You'll want to make sure to tap the notes in the right rhythm, fast, and keep your cursor following the spacing.

DJPop - Marisa Wa Taihen Na Mono Wo Nusunde Ikimashita - 170 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: ****
Stream alert! All those notes are fast, but make sure you're hitting them at the right pace because if you go too fast then you will get 100s, which will degrade to 50s, and then most likely you will miss something. At the end is some weird slider business which you should know how to complete, but look in the editor if you don't. The rest is easy, though you might want to play the song beforehand if you haven't already to master the weird spacing.

alvisto - Classical Insanity - 175 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: ***
Though the streams are faster, they are also shorter, and there's a slider for healing at the end of each one. Just make sure you get the small jumps right. At the end, make sure to hit the 1/8 slider correctly.

v2b (DJPop) - Night of Knights - 180 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: ***
This is around the halfway point and when things start getting quite difficult. It's good to know the song beforehand so you can hit everything correctly, and maybe even practice once or twice before playing the compilation form. If you're feeling shaky, it's good to break before this one so you can stay calm to hit the slightly odd notes.

Mystearica - Himiko[/url] - 185 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **
Despite how fast the song is, most of the streams are made up of sliders so if you want a full combo, be careful to hit everything correctly. If you just want to survive mashing buttons is fine and will probably get you through. Try to finish with a full HP Bar because the next song is far more challenging.

Mystearica - Shounen A - 192 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: *****
This is one of the toughest challenges you'll face... look out. There are lots of streams and few easy parts to recover from them. It is highly, highly recommended to do your best at getting 300s to keep the bar full. The notes are a little further apart than most times, but you'll want to to stream at a steady pace or else the long combos will turn into 100s... 50s... misses... and then death~ Even the part after the spinner is tough, so spin with all your might. A 31-note stream comes after it. Oh, I forgot to mention this is also the longest snippet in the compilation.

MoonFragrance - Rage of Demon - 196 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **
Ah, this is so much easier it is nearly relaxing. Yes, it is faster but all the streams are so much shorter and there are even sliders to help regain your health. Don't think that this is easy for nothing, though. What comes up next is terrible so you MUST end this song with full health.

DJPop - Marisa wa Taihen na Kanbu de Tomatte Ikimashita - 200 BPM
( here!)
Difficulty: **********
I hope you still have caffeine in your system since the HP Drain will really, really, hurt you here. This is an entire 30 BPM faster than the already challenging first Marisa map, so you're going to want to really pay attention to the audio lead-in. Other than that, you'll just have to practice and practice. I advise playing this outside of the main compilation until you get a feel for the rhythm.

Lesjuh - Revolution Deathsquad - 200 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *********
Well, things are not looking bright here, either. The streams are shorter but they are still at 200 BPM, so you will want to make sure to get 300s on the easy sliders in order to have the health to survive the longer streams. Fast cursor movement is required.

AngelHoney - rog-limitation - 220 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *******
We're at the 220 BPM zone now, but this one doesn't present as much challenge as the other ones. All you need to do is keep your health up in the easier streams for the more difficult ones. The sliders are there to help you recover some HP. The last stream will present a bit of a challenge, so try to keep your health high enough because the next map...

Blue Dragon - Banned Forever - 220 BPM
Difficulty: ********* ( here!)
Insane... though there are many challenging 1/4s, there are also some sliders to balance things out. Make sure you get those right. (especially the really fast ones) Other than that, fight off the fatigue to beat this part...

XGor -luv-lab-poison 22ate! - 228 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *******
You might need to mash a few buttons in the first part, but after that you get some easy sliders with some notes tacked on the end. This part is mostly easy. However, then come the diamonds with the notes in the middle... there you really want to pay attention to the numbers! Those useless numbers finally have a purpose, so look at them carefully while you hit the notes.

TKiller - Kanon-Kanon - 230 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: ******
This one begins with lots of new combos to restore any health lost in the previous song. After that it's mostly some simple jumps. You'll be fine.

DJPop - Taihen na Mono Shoushitsu - 240 BPM ( here!)
Difficulty: *********
Oh, please don't die now. Play the beatmap a couple times beforehand so you know what to expect. There are a couple tricky things you'll need to take note of. Other than that, the only problem is the stream entirely made up of circles. Mash mash mash mash, and if you can get that surely the last slider stream won't be a problem. Spinner and... done!

GOOD LUCK
Hiyorin
Even though I have no hope in actually surviving the stream compilation, I enjoyed reading your guide. Thanks for sharing :)
I will continue playing the map with nofail and spunout :X
