what are the "minion" and "rush" you meant? are they each "catcher" and "dash"? If yes, I can't say much about it.
However what I can say about your curious is.. "dash" has not clearly timing to input to "catcher", it's based on lots of playing experience.
Yes. There's no fast way to learn it.. If you wanna make your osu!catch skills be better, especially dash skills, you need to spend a numerous playcounts to find sense how to dash well.

One is an endless runner the other is a rhythm game, I don't know how you would compare the two realistically. They both require different skillsets with perhaps some overlap but not to a significant degree to say being good at one will give you an advantage to the other.
Coming from someone who has the played the game and other games in it's genre (though very casually) I'm highly doubtful there's a good transfer of skill purely based on how both games handles player input but you're free test that hypothesis
