Hey everyone! I'm excited to announce the third iteration of this contest. From your from previous contests, we have decided to free the song pool. This means you can choose any metal song to map for your submission. We have also increased the total prize pool to AUD2000, 1000 per game mode. We're excited to see all your submissions, Good Luck!
NOTICE: the osu!standard and osu!taiko contests are SEPARATE contests. Two badges will be handed out (pending), one for each game mode.

Rules
- Submissions must be singular difficulties only.
- Hitsounds are not required, but you can get bonus points for having them.
- Collaborations are allowed. You are limited to 2 people per submission and you must add your partner's osu! name to the tags.
- Your chosen song must be at least 2:30 in length. You may stitch together songs that lead into each other to meet this criteria but each track must be reasonably mapped.
- Your beatmap must be timed correctly.
- Your chosen song must be a metal song. (If the song you chose can be tagged as metal under the "genre" dropdown on the osu! site, you're good to go!)
- Your set must follow Visual Content rules.
- Your beatmap must follow the general ranking criteria, as well as osu!standard ranking criteria or osu!taiko ranking criteria, depending on which mode you're participating in.
- Do not share or your entry to the site before judging has concluded.
- Your submission must be anonymous. Your osu! name must not be present anywhere in the beatmap before judging has concluded.

1. Song Representation - How well your beatmap represents your chosen song (X/10)
2. Creativity - How unique the ideas / concepts in your beatmap are (X/10)
3. Structure - How well the ideas and concepts of the beatmap are presented and executed (X/10)
4. Judge's Impressions - The impression your beatmap left on the judge (X/10)
