Oldest post I found was this mentioning the site exist for 10 years prior. It's kinda hard to locate anything older than 2013 or 2008 actually. It's like a black hole hit right through the place at some point. I don't think it's fair to say the forum is older than the content it has available. If osu servers suddenly had a stroke now and everything got wiped, I think that would be the death of the old osu and birth of the new osu. Quite two distict entities. Sure, s would be same, but also it would loose much of its history, what it made it.

Anyway this puts it at 2005, which isn't older than srb2 at 2003

assuming something happened to gamefaqs in 2013ish, that gives the possibility of forum death at roughly 18 years. Which means osu forums might be at risk come around 2026. srb2 survived a few years more than that so far, and counting, sooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
