in my opinion, it's worth it, it's cheap and runs everything i want at 60 fps

Even with all standby memory from Windows preloading stuff I barely ever use my 32GB, 64 is useless tbh unless you have some very specific uses like video editing or whatever (even then I don't think anyone actually needs more than 32).

I rarely go above 55% of RAM on Linux with KDE Plasma... and only have 16 GB. Imo 64 GB isn't really useful unless you have a very specific usecase that would require that much...

I only bought more ram because at the time I was playing tarkov, and that shit used ALL of my 16GB of ram. crashing my pc constantly.

yeah it never crashed again, in total it used 18GB of ram? yeah that seems about right

I mean, it's a pretty damn good pc, idk if there are that many things that the pc can't run

Mine is an HP Laptop 17-cn0023dx with an Intel Core i5-1135G7 11th Gen, with Intel Graphics Xe, and 32 GB of RAM (it originally had 16), and before you ask, I use Arch btw (so you don't classify me as Windows )

Old Laptop: (this one's garbage) (btw it also runs Linux (no specific distro because its hard drive will commit failure)

Unrelated but apparently Blender recommends 32 GB, guess that's why it was so laggy while rendering (as well as my U)

After a bit more research, seems this PC is better GPU wise than my laptop.

2070 super is a BEAST of a gpu but the u could be a little better

yea, marco only got 5% better than I did with a u 5 gens newer, though the new intel chips haven't been very good from what ive heard.

not a problem for me, I dont do many things that are at all gpu heavy anyway - which is why I never bought a new one. the jet engine my gpu turns into during the occasional handbrake render is funny though.

oh no, I cant play the new slop AAA titles in 32k ultraultramegawidescreen doubletime planetraced whatever will I do...

I don't care about modern AAA slop so I'll be more than happy to stay with my current H61 mobo.
(With an i7-3770, better GPU and 16GB ram of course)

prolly because my pc can handle such applications that doesnt need 3d graphics (i do have to it fl can be slow on my pc, but not that much). my pc is obviously not capable of playing high quality games as it's only intended for business purposes lol. though at some point i actually could play fortnite, valorant and some other triple a games when we newly bought that at that time...
