I always play with both fingers(means i switch alternatively 2 fingers all the time). Every top players that i know only use both of their fingers for streaming. So i'm thinking that should i practice to use one finger for single tap?
do what u want
sure, depends on what you find more comfortable.
Imo better not if you're already fine with alt. Singletap is an easy approach for getting better acc/stability from start, but it's a trap indeed, it got a cap at bpm around 200, after it's very hard to gain more speed.

Also quite a lot of maps has mapping that is very uncomfortable for singletap, so you are almost forced to alt them and if you couldn't - you're pathetic, though it's high 5* and above problems mostly.

The last thing - learning singletap is much easier and it can be done at any stage, better to stick at alt imo and raise it to decent level first.

Tapping with both fingers to every circle is absolutely fine, but it is much easier to tap to the rhythm with one finger. The golden rule of thumb IMO is that any overlapping notes (e.g. 3-note bursts) should be hit with both fingers, regardless if you decide to practice single-tapping for full-alternating tapping (the tapping method you're currently using).

The skill ceiling potential from learning to full-alternate is nothing to scuff at however. You will be able to hit particular patterns that are hard to either hit accurately or fast enough with single-tapping alone. My profile & playstyle is pretty much hours and hours of full-alternating in action, so check it out if you want any inspiration :).
this game is designed for two fingers i see why people quit, you cant play the way you want lol
another necro ggs

jokes aside I use two for bursts and streams but one for singletapping (obviously)
