I haven't checked all the 2016 packs, there might me some maps missing or corrupted so I won't publish any torrent until I've done a complete check up.

I've just tried extracting that map and it worked. I'm using 7zip though so I don't know what doesn't work with WinRAR.

Hey guys! I am back with a couple updates :
- The packs from June 2017 have been ed and are now available for .
- I have imported all the beatmaps (139GB as of today) into my osu client. My Songs folder's size is 125GB as of today with a few unranked maps. I forgot to do it by year so I can't give stats for each year but if someone is willing to do that, I could copy that on the OP.
- There were 5 maps from 2008 (osu!standard only) that couldn't be imported. I had to re them from Bloodcat since the maps on the osu website can't be imported. As a consequence I have made a new 2008 torrent, the link is on the OP.
- I have checked with osu!direct and I have all the ranked beatmaps from October 2007 to June 2017.
- Now that everything is checked, I will be able to make the 2016 torrents and I will publish them very soon so stay tuned.
- I know that MEGA is pretty shit with the limits and everything but it is the best free option I have at the monent. I might pay for a server to those packs on in the future but until then, you guys are gonna have to deal with what we have at the moment. I can only on MEGA and make torrents at the moment.

There are also some maps I can't extract from 2008 although I have them in my client.

"687 Hotei Tomoyasu - Mr.Lonely" and "951 Tanci Minus - Gorod" are one of those mapsets that are corrupted on the osu website. The only way to have them is to get them from Bloodcat, which I have now done. I will re the packs and remake the torrents.
Sorry about the inconvenience, I have never noticed it and it never appeared on osu!direct either. Hopefully this is the only case of corrupted files.

I wish I could check that with osu!direct but I'm having a problem with it at the moment.
You probably have the whole thing though. It's just that torrent file that I removed from one of the packs.
If there's nothing other than that in the 2016 torrent, I will make a new torrent. Normally, people who already have the packs and are seeding should the new torrent file, link it to the files they already have and do a check (that's how I did when I moved computers, I kept the old torrents without having to anything). They will just the pack that was modified.
But I can't check anything until that problem with osu!direct is fixed, which made me question the reliability of osu!direct, maybe I am missing a few maps despite osu!direct telling me otherwise.

I meant that it was the only song in the whole pack, same for 2008-03. Everything works fine with 2016 torrent, it just has that extra torrent file inside it.

Hey guys, here's a little summary of what's been happening :

I have fixed a few things in the 2008 osu!packs (the ones that Andresardo pointed out with a few maps that I noticed I couldn't extract). I have reed 2008-02 and 2008-03 on Mega. I also have made a new torrent file.
I have fixed the 2011-01 osu!taiko pack which contained a map that I couldn't extract. I am currently reing it on Mega and I have made a new torrent file.
I have fixed the 2016-04 osu! pack which had a missing beatmap and the 2016-06 osu! pack which had a torrent file in it that Andresardo pointed out. I am currently reing it on Mega and I have made a new torrent file.

People who already have those files and are seeding them, you don't need to re the whole thing. the torrent and link it to the files you already have. It will only the files that have been modified.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will keep fixing packs on Mega, should I ever find errors again but I don't think I will alter the torrents anymore. osu!direct was the only way of checking that I had everything but it has been showing me maps that I already have so I can't rely on it anymore and I don't have any other way to check everything. But I can say that the collection is 99.99% complete. There shouldn't be that many missing maps.

Edit : Don't worry if you can't them right now. I will seed those torrents after I finish ing the packs on Mega.

Hey again, just noticed a few more things on both torrents and mega files:

2007-10: 126 Lisa Locheed - The Raccoons - Run with us
2009-03: 5577 SEGA,Prope - Let's TAP Title Song
2010-01: 11422 Frankmusik - 3 Little Words

All 3 beatmaps show up as not submited in osu and doesn't show the update button. I had to manually them from the website.

I can confirm, it's weird. I put the links on the OP. I will not modify the packs and torrents, you will have to them from the website. There might be other maps like these, who knows. I have noticed that quite a few maps need to be updated in game as well. I can't check every map unfortunately.

Sorry to bother again so soon, but looks like I'm still having problems with 2008-02 and 2008-03 packs on both mega and torrent links after reing (Using the new torrent links posted in OP). When opening the .rar, theres only files for one uncompressed beatmap instead of all the .osz files for the whole month.

Yeah it did that for me as well, but I have the same number of files after extracting. Not sure what causes it and if I recompress those files, it might happen again.

What if those corrupted "687 Hotei Tomoyasu - Mr.Lonely" and "951 Tanci Minus - Gorod" files where the ones that corrupted the .rar? They are included on each of those packs.

They work fine now. It might be one of the beatmaps in it but I can't be sure.

I calculated the number of beatmap-sets per year for osu!std based of your packs.
Of course I can't guarantee that they are 1000% correct, but they should be close to.

Also please be aware this are the numbers for whole beatmapsets only, as I am not crazy enough to count every single beatmap to ever exist. Well, I still did it for 2007 and 2008 though (see numbers in brackets).

Edit: Just after the 2013 torrent finished I got a message in uTorrent talking about how a virus was found and that I should Pro... I'm guessing this is just a marketing ploy? I hope there's no virus because I might have to re-image again lol.

Using µtorrent in 2017, ugh...Use something else like Deluge or qBittorrent.

Thats the same thing that happened to me. It seems that the archive has some kind of unexpected end of file error that Winrar can't seem to get through, unlike 7zip, which extracts it just fine.

To fix it, i think that Elessey would need to remake the archive and re- it. If he doesn't want to do that or you can't wait, then you can just 7zip and use that to extract the archive, instead of using Winrar.

Am i doing something wrong becuase when i open these packs and open them 1 by 1, Osu only gets the 2star version of the song... im new to this usualy only through the game... Any one have any advice?

Do you have anything that filters the songs in your options? Maybe that's why only 2 star maps appear.

no i dont think so i can see all my other ratings and songs in them just not any of the new ones from the packs

That's weird, can you link a map for example? Some of the sets have low star maps, espeically the older ones.

Well that explains it, there's not a lot of high star maps in 2007 packs, if any at all.

No, you will have to remove them yourself from your client. It is normal to have maps from other gamemodes since some mapsets have maps from other gamemodes and I can't modify the mapset to remove the maps that you don't want (technically I think I could but it would be a lot of work).

F5 only seems to filter through the .osu into folders and I'm not sure if there's any way to update all the maps to ranked status faster than just waiting

You need to be online and have the global rankings tab open, it will update automatically. Playing offline or having local rankings tab open will not update the status of the map. Sadly it's a one by one thing, you can't do it all at once. But it takes a few seconds each time.

O crap totally forgot to say anything! Yes so the very first set of ranked Beat maps 2007 is almost entirely un rated or 2 star songs so if you it and wonder why you aren't getting all the difficulties that's why. I've ed the next set and its working perfectly. Thanks for the effort it made it alot easier to get the ranked beat maps. Appreciate all the work that's been done, and also the help I've received.

I won't add loved maps or make packs with loved maps. The reason is that they can be ranked if the mapper wants to. They are unranked maps with leaderboards.

Hey, so I've started ing the year-size torrents recently, and within the 2008 pack both February and March were completely empty upon unpacking, just 1 or 2 junk files I can't even identify. The other months seem fine, any idea what went wrong there?

Use another program to open these. I'm gonna write this on the op as it's been reported several times.
