I haven't been able to play osu for the last two days because my sleep schedule is too fucked and doesn't interact with the times I have availible to play osu. But I haven't been to bed yet and it's noon so hopefully tommorow I'll wake up sometime at like 02:00 and then won't be tired at noon like I am now!

'I want to get to shodan quickly.' That must be the first thought of everyone who
learns to play go, but the barrier turns out to be unexpectedly thick. I sometimes
hear people who are stalled at the four- or five-kyu level say, 'I don't have any
talent.' Nonsense—no special talent is needed to reach shodan. These people are
simply falling back on that convenient term 'talent' to justify their mistaken
methods of studying to themselves.
From where, then, comes the difference between those who make steady progress
and those who do not? That question can be answered in one word: fundamentals.
When a person knows lots of joseki, practices life-and-death problems, and plays a
great deal, but still makes no progress, it is because his fundamentals are all wrong.
'Fundamentals' should be interpreted, not as something narrow like joseki, but in a
broad sense, as one's whole approach to the game. Think not of some flimsy
structure that will collapse in a breeze, but of a tall skyscraper that gives itself to the
wind, with only its foundation planted firmly in the ground.

Dear OSU! Diary,
Today I've been having a good day. Particularly because I've been beginning to maps without no-fail.
I like this game, not only because it is a rhythm game, but the wide variety of things you can do is amazing. You can make maps, edit maps, play maps, play online, and much more. Even without osu!er, it's very fun and very unique from other rhythm games. There is no other like the satisfaction after making a stream, a jump combo, a slider break, a spinner, etc.
It was made only a while ago, and it has come this far. There are nearly 7 million s now and all of them have played 3.5 billion times. Peppy and his mates are awesome people, and osu! is taking big, large steps up every year. The options in Ouendan and EBA is much more limited than osu!, like I said before, you can make your own maps. The most successful people in the mapping industry are Blue Dragon, val0108, RLC, Skystar, and many many more. They are the reason why the game is getting better.
People like Cookiezi, rrtyui and WubWoofWolf motivates a lot of people in the osu! community to get better. Watching their replays are amazing and sometimes you want to be like them too. So kudos to all of those people, Peppy, the developers, the beatmappers and the professional players.
I made my osu! last year, and I didn't think it would get me this far. Osu! is a simple, easy-to-learn game and I am excited for osu!next.
