Anything you want so the duration doesn't really matter. Keep in mind that a bigger duration means more content to rate your voice for us ;)
I would say 2-3 minutes is a good average of what we got last year.

Each stage is 2 weeks - 1 week submission, 1 week judging time.
Hopefully this year there will be no delays on either side.

i was thinking of recording with the built-in mic from my laptop(i only have one jack so nowhere to plug my mic x_x)

the quality won't bring me anywhere closer to stage 3 even if i take it srsly but hey..
