1st. stalk top perfomance maps of people in your skill range (if you're lazy use the Osu!Trainer)

It's a long long way to the top. back when ppv2 first came out top 10 was 6k pp and top 50 was only 5k pp but now it's 5,600 for top 50 and 6,300 for top 10 every single time a new ctb map comes out the bar raises up and up~ but in CTB we measure mostly scores with skill and not rank because of the PP system currently, so you should focus on getting better instead of beaming up the ranking chart.

oh and btw, don't care that much with pp:
1. not many people really care about that or rank, but the skills of you
2. when you really made some great records, your pp will somehow increase, especially ctb maps, so what you have to do is just play when you like it, or for fun, you will at least get some pp from it

In CTB we judge skill from records more so than over-all rank~

Most people use the default setup it seems, I use different keys for movement (1 and 3 on numpad) but I still use LShift to dash.Riince wrote: 2g602n

It's all purely preference though.

so if left handed you can use the numpad buttons as dash (probably 0 since the button is bigger)
if right handed you can use spacebar (it is bigger) with left hand as dash
well you should stick to a config though, otherwise you will have to adapt all the changes and start everything over

So i started training AR10 again... since im getting comfortable with AR9.8... and nope, no dice.
Atleast its not "Holy fucking shit meteors, how am i supposed to do that" any more but "Thats too fast for me, omg looking at it for a while makes my eyes hurt". Thats some improvement i guess...
On the other hand, i wonder if im focussing too much on high AR and instead should play more of this super jumpy stuff... (aka Rains, curse them. :V)
