both are shit in their own way,i'm using chrome btw

so far im feelin that chrome is way better than firefox
iCallum
Chrome
Safari.
Honestly, unless you're counting in milliseconds, it doesn't matter.
both
afaik Chrome is faster, but of course, Firefox uses a different interface and has its own features and whatnot, so some people prefer it for those reasons.
Chrome is faster, but we're talking milliseconds here. Considering it's extensibility and often superior functionality, I stick with Firefox. If you're considering switching because of speed, you're doing it for the wrong reason.
my ass or your ass
IE or Opera
I like the look/feel of chrome better (it works with my windows visual style better). You're not going to get a noticeable speed difference so just go for personal preference.
Chrome is faster in my experience. But both have their advantages/ disadvantages. I use both.
both
netscape 4 lyfe

Firefox takes up 300MB RAM and I only have 5GB RAM free now :( what do, guys ?
Chrome wins. Next.
Lynx.

No images and Javascript = light speed rendering
Damn straight.

People who capitalize "Or"

Chrome is botnet and does not respect your privacy. Firefox is good but use a different build of it, such as aurora (What I use), nightly or waterfox.

Firefox is better as it is more customisable and respects your freedom.

never use IE or opera.

Palemoon and lynx are good too.
heads

or tails?
I want heads.
Firefox :)
Firefox :3
I used to be a Firefox fan till Chrome 4 came out. Chrome just loads (starts) way faster for me, despite having similar number of extensions to my Firefox.
I used Chrome before, but something weird happened to it -_- so I don't use it anymore.
So I begin to use Firefox and Opera

Firefox kept giving me the stupid *Firefox is still running and must be closed (when I previously closed with already) and must be reset in order to open again.* Like... what.
After a few months of dealing with that garbage, I switched to Chrome.

Yeah, I've had it multiple times as well. It doesn't happen often, but I wonder what that's about..

yeah this keeps happening to me aswell when i used it
I don't know what that error is but what I do know is that Firefox runs like ass on my laptop and has laggy Flash while Chrome is basically better at everything else.

Except when opening facebook, that always freezes on chrome but I don't really care about that one page.

...W-Well your laptop just sucks and it's.... it's too slow for Firefox's sophisticated workings so.. so like..!
S-So it's not Firefox-tan that's slow, it's your computer's fault! >A<

..... ;~;

But, well yeah, Chrome is kind of faster at everything. .3.
Chrome hands down

It's happened all the time, was incredibly annoying. Could never find why it did that.

It means you were closing Firefox and you tried to open it again without the previous one fully closing. Firefox only runs one instance at a time, so since it's still trying to close, it won't be able to reinitiate its process, meaning it needs a new process to start again; which obviously it can't do because it hasn't finished closing yet.

This wouldn't happen if you don't try to open Firefox again so soon after closing it, and if you just had a faster computer.
My computer should be way more than capable of fully closing firefox in under a couple of minutes.
But since it's not, I always killed the process with task manager to be able to open a new one immediately ._.

Edit: Whenever it got stuck, bad wording. -__-
smart man.

Why can't Firefox run multiple instances at a time? And why doesn't this happen (to the best of my knowledge) at least nearly as often with IE or Chrome? If this is solved w/ a faster computer, I presume this is an inefficiency issue in the program...?

Regardless, I am a Firefox , only because I prefer open source apps whenever possible. Besides, the speed difference is not really noticeable on my computer~
I prefer Chrome as faster-wise, although I'm both Firefox and Chrome at the same time when I decided to go on Facebook, Youtube and what not.
Comodo Dragon (Basically Chrome without botnet.)

Actually, Nightly is the pre-alpha. Aurora is the Firefox alpha. The beta is simply the beta of course.

Yours please.

Seemingly, Firefox managed to sur Chrome for the first time, in a Tom's Hardware shootout. Seemingly, the differences were pretty noticeable, but I couldn't really comment on that.
Deleted_1780855
If you want to use firefox and want really fast speeds, use waterfox.
what about windfox
Mozilla Outbird Explorer
Chrome, easier to clean the history.

I like that way of thinking.
i got this qvo6 thing stuck on my homepage help pls
nvm i fixed it already
Kalas_old

Firefox!
I've been using Firefox as long as I can and I've had no problems with speed or anything like that. c:
firefox nightly. It gets really buggy though, I use chrome as well but nightly mostly.
I don't really know what happened but look what I found!~
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/chr ... 34-12.html

Firefox is apparently really fast now~
If you actually go back and check the other results, you'll see that Chrome is still faster in certain areas, like Javascript and HTML5, however Firefox has managed to pull ahead on, surprisingly, startup, load times, and memory management??! Like, what?

So yeah, Firefox-tan might not be as fat and slow as you thought. I personally wouldn't really know better myself, since my hardware already goes super fast, and I don't use Chrome for comparison, but I just thought that this was very interesting to know.
Use waterfox/aurora, don't let chrome steal your info.
Chrome :3 Never actually used Firefox x__x
I preferred using Chrome. :)
I prefer netscape navigator.
AOL browser or Maxthon
Chrome is definitely better to me :3

Chrome forever. Nothing more.
Opera. My experiences with Firefox and Chrome in the past aren't very good.
I use Chrome. It's in my experience the fastest and the most efficient browser.
Im using Maxthon Browser currently... Everything laggs when im using chrome so yeah~
Chrome is the best xD
I use firefox at work because Chrome requires more resources, and my pc can't handle Minecraft and Chrome at the same time. At home, it's Chrome

big brother loves you too.
Chrome all the way.
To be honest, everyone's opinion doesn't really matter. What I've seen so far, it usually depends on the computer. As for my computer, it can't handle Chrome nor Internet Explorer. Therefore I'm using Firefox. Not sayin' that Firefox is faster, but just clarifying that everyone has opinions that works for them, does not work for everyone else.
Firefox, Like a boss! :P
Emailing Stallman about this.
Firefox, doesn't crash and it uses less U than Google Chrome.
fkin flash always crashes on chrome
But i still stick with it
flash crashes everytime on firefox

hell cant even watch twitch stream/youtube without gettin crash

yet they add useless stuf like apng
I use Sogou High-Speed Explorer, a internet explorer that has the ability to:

Open multiple web pages in a single windows tab(similar to IE 8) and the capability to search for websites when you enter words(similar to Chrome)

Use two different internet proccessing cores that are manually changeable: Webkit Core and IE Core

Invisble Mode. History is not left when you visit a website. Use it to view Osu! to avoid unpleasant experiences with my mother.

A controller you can access at anytime, unlike IE.

Rocket Mode. When viewing Chinese websites, speed is dramatically improved.

The only problem is you can only use 1 windows tab, any attempt to open and use a second windows tab will be contained in the first tab. Resulting in two web pages in 1 windows tab.

tl;dr: Chrome with an AK-47

Stallman has spoken.
Chrome.

Dem Firefox plugins. XD
Chrome.
Chrome... unless i want some add-on'ed personalizations, then I use firefox
I have ancient machine and chrome works much better for me than firefox, it turns faster and searching is better im sure that is my favourite browser, after all
They're both shit. But I use Chrome.

THIS. But I use Firefox, because It's a Fox with a Fire.
I prefer Chrome's general smoothness and usability, as well as its ridulous;y clean design. However, it seems to be falling to pieces very slowly.

I like Firefox for its broader scope for extensions. It's great for ripping porn videos.
