It'd be especially nice to see this thread garnering more activity, although I understand that not everybody who makes music necessarily wants to show it off.
Someone ed my possibly worst song on YouTube. Look at that pic. Duuuude.

And now since all my stuff from last 14 months have been released, expect new things on summer 2013 at earliest.
Well, I'm working on a small EP, so expect it in maybe a month if we get lucky. Hardcore, will be as 2nnt on DANCE CORPS (am I famau5 now).
For new SNB stuff, read the quote above. Summer 2013, maybe even spring 2014 if I don't get motivated and won't come up with new ideas.

My best piece, its so grim and dark. After that i tried making hardstyle and dubstep and failed and quit making music for good.
http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02616/ Also in collaboration with melody from OCR, I rapped on a Gyakuten Saiban/ Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney remix back in 2011, and it finally got posted up as an official OC Remix.

Definitely checking out. Welcome back, by the way.

Great work, I'll keep an eye out for your stuff in the future as well.
In the spirit of the thread, here is a demo that I need to fix up a bit still.
Talking about demos, I have a drone thing that I'm planning on sending forward soon. I've found 2 suitable labels, and one of them is an of my favourite free music portal, which is quite a big chance to get it linked there too. Wish me good luck.
Well, um, here is my new soundcloud page. I am new to making music, so I'm just experimenting. Mostly remixing stuff, none of my stuff is great, but you can listen & either of the two songs I have outhere. Enjoy (or not )!
This isn't my own stuff as such, but I was asked to record for a function band's demos, as well as arrange horn parts. Cheesy as fuck and it's an initial mix--the horns sound shoddy--but have some professional boning.
Got around to another one. I think she sounds much better at this pitch. She really shines during the second half of the song once she forgets about her shyness and really puts her feelings into it.
I'm gonna have to get listening to stuff of other people, but for now, I've recorded the rhythm section for my degree's production assignment. I've decided to arrange the theme from 'Sonic the Hedgehog's Starlight Zone--the entire arrangement was written by me, with a lot of variance added to the original groove.
As the entire track's backings are repetitious, I'm going to show you all what I've done with some of the keys player's solo takes. I used a load of flange, delay, chorus and reverb when splicing two cheesy '70s leads together. I then decided to fiddle with a vibraphone take, adding delay and reverb to that. Possibly some chorus too. I'll be recording horns this/next week and then mixing everything down for the 15th.
This is just me messing around, but feast your ears on these anyway:

She deserves better than a laptop mic or whatever that is. I'm actually looking for a vocalist for a small project.
I need a vocalist too, kinda. I have one project that I'd be happy to get vocals on, but so far everyone has rejected it. And I've asked one person so far.
sure,
it's chaotic as hell, I can't stand more than one minute of hearing it.
Plus, i'm sure you're joking or being ironic saying you made it, since you added that fastidious sound only.
To peoples who are in a pinch or so. You can freely request my help. I just like to hear peoples thankfulness.
Spent a fine 5 days working on this. It actually is still driving me crazy since it sounds like everything's clashing more towards the end. The pad sounds louder than the lead, and my theory is that they should be within 10% velocity of each other.
But basically what I've done up to this point.

I've got a vocalist currently, though I just got him today. I'm able to get up to 2 more people but they don't have professional microphones to sing into. The moment I get my microphone, I'll be down if you still need a vocalist by then.
uhm, Instead of more drums, i would say you could try a more complex synth pattern.
Plus you should've not removed the high frequencies on the vocals later.
(I have almost no experience in making music) Though it was a good trance track

Levels are pretty okay, vocals are a bit quiet, but it is a bootleg and you don't necessarily have the best options available. The thin lead that goes from the intro through to the first verse is a bit loud and stale to be frank; I suggest you lower the volume a few dB and automate a frequency cutoff filter to add more interest and controllable tension to it. The kick is sitting well, but the bass lacks clarity and definition, particularly at the chorus; I suggest you see if you can high tracks that are cluttering the low end and possibly try sidechaining further.
nah, I think I'm not going to even press the play button, sorry
You clearly don't get the joke. 8I

Tough to get the joke if I haven't pressed the play button.
it's the air horn effect that dey play up in da club and sirens all over the song.
I was making fun of the youtube "producers" that do the whole 2013 HOuSE ULTIMATE REMIX EDIT ** LINK***

great song with delicate and refined timbres mixed with a superbly ingenious taste for revitalizing well established melodies and rhythms.
11/10, would listen to again
Finally, my production project has been finished and handed in. I opted to arrange one of the tracks from 'Sonic the Hedgehog' in a '70s jazz-funk style. It took a ridiculous amount of comping to get the horn solos to sound right, but I've had shitloads of fun with effects and the like.
Thank you! This was the first "real" mix that I've done all on my own, so I decided to fuck what the lecturers might think of it and have my own kind of fun.

My second release this year, which makes it total of only 12 tracks released in 2013 (of which 9 are made in 2012, 2 in 2013 and 1 in 2011). This year'll be quality over quantity, apparently.
I don't count this as a proper release (experimental self-release and only 2 tracks), but I wanted to include the cover art there (and update my bandcamp's overall design)
And for those of you who peruse this thread, I got on a sweet compilation album. Going to link my own video since you can't embed soundcloud or bandcamp players here.
Sick album art, but most of these tracks are way too abstract for me. Also, the bass is heavy as fuck, almost overwhelmingly & chokingly so on some tracks (notably the 2nd & 5th). ~SPRCKT~ was pretty sick, probably my favorite track on the album~
I made it in one night, by the way. It's heavily experimental, abstract and overall plain stupid, and by no means something to listen to regularly.
Anyway, track 2 is my personal favourite. It kind of reminds me of serious music (so does 3, but it's not really good at all). Kind of. Very remotely. But kind of.
I made a track once to see how well I could do. I'm not really interested in electronic music right now because it is minimalistic garbage for people who don't know enough theory to make real music. Just kidding! But not really electronic "musicians" are a joke.
Oh and I kind of released a 11/29 special to congratulate my 3 years on netlabels. yay
Coffee in the Wind and Lolita Labyrinth are old unreleased ones, Little Old Bells took like an hour to make, and on Sunfractals I focused on for maybe a weekend one week. Canta Adagio is "the track" on this one, IMO.
Deffo one of my least favourites if we're counting releases after summer 2011
E: Sending all the serious stuff I've made after A Vague Sense of an Autumn Wind (8 songs, of which 3 are on AVSoaAW, but extended and/or improved in other ways, a fourth one is completely remixed, so it's only 4 new tracks, uh, because I'm aiming for a place where nobody knows that they are actually already released) today, to a particular netlabel.
I feel bad that I only really drop by this thread to promote something, but then it's pretty much a SNB/me/Jarby thread or something.
I've been playing with a funtastic and funky brass band for about three years and we're looking to get our name out a bit more. We've been through a lineup change and rebirth, after people couldn't commit enough or didn't have the right sound--this pretty much meant that the bandleader had to start over and rehearse with new people.
We have a website and a Facebook page which are vying for some attention, so to anybody who happens upon this thread, do check us out.
Have a video of us doing 'Thriller' from a couple of years ago. It was a fun gig, though the recording isn't the best.
Here's a more recent video with our tubist going off on one as well.
also my next 8-track LP should be out around April
I'm not sure what I'm doing with Moodsubstances though, it's just some random drones and so. I actually renamed it (and may rename it later once again), and will probably release it around June. Might end up being my first proper drone LP, though it's around 40 minutes currently, 3 tracks (removed the psycore tracks from it, doing another release for them - psycore, breakcore and other bassy shit).
That means there's at least 3 more things coming this year.
2nnt - Qsicheoh Breaks (Psycore & Breakcore EP, March)
Static Noise Bird - Audiofruit Orchard (Downtempo & Chillwave LP, April or May)
From the Willowmeadow - The Heart Sleeps Tonight / Title May Change (Drone EP/LP, June or July)
https://soundcloud.com/dolphinssss Wannabe good composer. I also got a Bandcamp which is linked on my SoundCloud
Currently I am working on music for BMS Events, I have a team for BMS OF FIGHTERS 2014.
