Not liking the spinner all that much. It doesn't give an accurate representation as to how much more I have to spin. I also preferred the cartoon-y hitmarkers of the last skin. It was a lot easier to see whether I got a 300 or 200.

It's generally a step in the right direction, though. I'm looking forward to see the finalized product.

Looks a lot more modern, just started playing a few months ago but I really felt like all the interface was old and deprecated, this one is sleek, I love the new spinner/health bar, the config menu is awesome. I still hate the cursor but that is easily fixed

But i dont really like the new ranking letters. Cant see well the difference between a S and SS, which makes scores scrolling silly.

not sure when this will happen, but what you can do, is remove parts from your skin that you want replaced by the default skin. any skin elements that are missing from a skin are replaced with the default skin

Agree with spinner. It looks too messy to me and sometimes I can't find cursor after spinning, but otherwise skin is awesome! Really like new followpoints. Also is somebody having problems with cursor? Mines totally freezes while map loading.

I don't like how notes disappear now, kinda makes the game slack. Also, misses going a little down is very disturbing, and something disturbs me on the new gameplay, I can't read quite as I was able to before. The rest looks really good!

New osu! default skin is much better then the old. osu!stream PC Version Skin mabye?

It looks good but I need to adapt I guess. I have been playing Osu for 5 years now and it is going to be hard to adapt. I just found out about the mini games but I'm not sure why you guys took it off for the multi player .The main thing I really don't enjoy is when you play the colors don't change :< it is harder to tell which one is which if you guys can at least change the colors for the circles that will be great and thank you.

This will happen at "in-between" resolutions like 1680x1050, where high res sprites are being used but scaled too much. I'll look into fixing this by using lower resolution ones in these cases where possible.

What graphics card are you running on? How long does the lag last for? I could replicate this on my VM, but assumed it was just my VM being a VM as no one else complained.

Looks really great.

The few things I don't like:

1. the ranking letters, hard to determine between SH and XH
2. the spinner, you can't really tell what is going on imo
3. the new slidertick behavior, SV changes are impossible to read now
4. edit: the misses falling down looks really irritating

4 years playing this game and looking at it now is like seeing a child grow!
Only thing i'll have to get used is the back button after i finish the beatmaps, but that's not a problem at all.

So whats up with the forced red filter on play-warningarrow.png? Makes the point of having a custom one quite moot...

I wish that the hit images had a bit more color in them, if there's a stream it's hard to notice 100 in the middle of many 300's. ;w; But otherwise, this skin looks awesome.

The new edition seems to be cleaner than before in the way of score displaying, but in fact it do affect our accurate rates for we can't see clearliy what scores we get (they all appear in the same small size and turn out to be the same color ). On this point I do miss the former osu.......Hope this situation can be improved! Thanks to all the staff

It would be cool if we could also change the "density" of them! (change the average distance between each followpoint and another this way)

Less Japanese themed. I've always wanted it to look like a regular music game style, if that makes sense. Now it does.
Gamemode changing from play screen.
No big giant exploding 300s, 100s, and 50s.



Dislike:
How the SS looks. Needs to be more noticeable, it just sort of looks like a thicker S.
How the spinner looks. Uhh... needs to be more simple I think.

Everything looks great. The only thing that bugs me right now is when I scroll through scores and I'm at the bottom 40 end of the score board and press the arrow to scroll over. It takes me to rank 80 instead of the top at 41. Slightly annoying to have to scroll back to the top to look at the 41st/81st place after scrolling to the bottom.

My only concern is how this will affect future ranking criteria in of hitburst overlapping circles being a much less severe problem with the new hitbursts.

The spinner is on ACID btw o_o and the hit lightning is for some reason half the original size, even on custom skins, which is very confusing at the moment.
The new follow points are brilliant. Using them in my new custom skin as of now!

Overall great job!

@kriers: RC will stay the same, just that it'll be more lenient in that regard, since the RC only mentions "if it renders them invisible/covers them"

I think a down arrow at result screen would be a nice idea since it doesn't seem to be very intuitive to people that they need to scroll down, or a message telling them to scroll down for it, or idk.

Likes:
- The new default skin, especially the followpoint and the shining spinner.
- The osu!stream-like interfaces.
- Hitbursts are now at the bottom of the objects.

Dislikes:
- Sliderball is also dimmed under Flashlight. Not sure if intentional, but posting here just in case.
- The bright cursor makes it hard to spin small with the new spinner.
- The leaderboard is indeed scrollable by dragging, but only if you drag it around the right side of the leaderboard because you can't click at the left side.
- The small SS and S (and especially SSH and SH) icons are almost indistinguishable. I prefer clearly showing two 'S'-es instead of being stacked or overlapped.
- The gradually-appearing sliderticks. I prefer the old behavior.

The first thing I saw at the ranking screen is the existence of the scrollbar at the right-side, and I immediately used mouse-wheel on that.
