Awesome! These are the 3 maps that led me into the world of getting good at Taiko.

...actually, looking at the maplist, it's right on the spot! Essentially these are THE steps to take for essential practice. I still the days I've been grinding an FC on Go My Way and Shiny Smile... frustrating, but these are my first steps into Tatsujin expertise!

FYI,here in HK we view songs like Natsu Matsuri (Oni) and Kikyoku (Oni,not Inner)
as songs suitable for Oni beginner training.^ ^
Probably because of their BPM and their easy-to-follow note patterns..

To me,Taiko Ranbu,Natsu Matsuri and maaaybe Age Age EVERY Knight (all in Muzukashii)
are good songs for ddd/kkk training.

For those of you that play Taiko no Tatsujin DS, you would already be familiar with this system.
As a thumb only player (I didn't use the shoulder buttons), I mapped my keyboard such that [x] and [m] are don, and [s] and [k] are kat, and I play with only my thumbs.

Since maker of maps are different, files were separated.
Although it could be annoying, please search them yourself.

No. Thats not true. That change is being done on the 1st of August.

The host probably deleted the files to get more space on his puush .

Just having some other stuff to do as well.

I'm introducing a friend to this game mode specifically, so it's nice to see it's gonna get an update because I didn't manage to get all the maps myself before the links broke.

It has been a great source of help for me to learn taiko though, being fairly new. The taiko difficulty spreads in current mapsets make learning the game a laborious task.

At least at my current level I can finally just type into search "muzukashii" and play everything there, before I was skipping through hundreds of maps trying to find something I could play. One day I got fed up and just drilled all the TBT's until SS, aside from some of the extremes. Only reason I did that is because I really wanted to learn the game. I can't imagine many other people doing this while listening to monotonous sounds for ages.

I don't even know how many taiko maps have not been added to rankings over the years because they didn't appeal to everyone, were to easy, or could not be ranked due to old guidelines - Or just mappers fault! I must guess quite a few and it's quite sad.

It took me two months of literally "headbashing against a wall" until I could play easier Oni maps properly haha.

Started to make an overhaul for this thread(thank you for the link @ aston).

- Right now I gave the episodes numbers for a better overlook in the game.
- fixed some bugs

Gonna add
- additional pattern training;
- some more maps for pratice;
- for more languages;
- adding this into wiki;
- and TBT Pack / single difficulties.

This time I will finish it in some days, stay tuned.
