The tyrannical rule of Overlord abraker j1z34

My dear fellow denizens!

As you all have known, ROS abraker is our current president.
His presidency granted him a voice amongst denizens and his recent rise to the moderation team granted him even more power.

Some people may find themselves troubled by those facts, however I wasn't since abraker was an old gen OT frequenter whom have had lots of contributions to OT and was well respected by other denizens, old and new.
However, I might have underestimated the effects of the powers that was given to him.

Power corrupts. And absolute power corrupts absolutely.
And unfortunately, this seems to have been the case with abraker.

abraker after receiving his powers, went on a locking rampage.
He was ruthless and efficient in his task of locking threads.
OT denizens have even gathered and documented all of his locked threads, and at the time of making this thread, the numbers of locked threads are impressively high for just a few months of abraker's ascension to the mod team.

abraker, the one who has experienced the tyranny of Lordships since the olden day himself is now slowly becoming a tyrannical OT Overlord himself.
I was confidant that he wouldn't become like them since he himself has experienced what it's like first hand. But perhaps I was wrong.

When the OT Government was established, it was made as a democratic government which was by the denizens, for the denizens.
However, under abraker's Lordship, denizens' freedom is threatened.
As of now, of all the threads that abraker has locked himself, there are 3 of them that were churches of the same religion.
Yes indeed, they were the churches of Hoshimachi Suisei.
I understand that religion is a divisive matter and not all people would agree with the idea of religions. However, since OT is a democratic forum, denizens should be allowed the freedom of expression and freedom of religious beliefs.
Yes, some may call the churches mentioned dubious, however they did not condone any negative actions nor have they spread anything but their love for their waifu.
If you read the posts in all 3 church threads, you can clearly see that all they did was stir up denizens' love for their waifus. There was even one that couldn't shut up about Eriri being his waifu.

As you can see, all the churches were built by private denizens and the churches had a positive impact on the denizens whom visited them.
So their lock down is unjustified and ultimately violates denizens' freedom on the forum.

I made this thread with the intent of pointing out the unjust that has happened on OT recently that's been caused by a very powerful individual - abraker.
I would like to request that abraker would unlock all of the threads that he have locked prematurely, including the church threads by using unjustified means.
I would also want abraker to take full the responsibility of violating denizens' rights and one of the rule in the OTConstitution, namely:

XXVIII. All have freedom of expression. None may be held legally responsible for sharing or receiving information, ideas or messages unless not defendable when held up to the core principles of seeking truth, democracy and the free forming of a denizen's opinions.
first!
Now, you yourself said it would not be a hassle to create another thread. abraker did not object either. (at least at the time)

My dear fellow denizen,
This is not just a matter of the churches of my religion being locked down. It's about one of, if not the most powerful individual on OT - abaker, while democratically been elected and trusted by denizens, have violated on one of their basic rights.
If we let this slip, what will guarantee that he won't misuse his authority in the future?

In my knowledge, the churches threads that are locked fall into the category of the use of 2 of the most basic denizen rights, which are the freedom of expression and freedom of religious beliefs.
There are denizens who want to lock those threads of course, but no denizen should be allowed of sabotaging the basic rights of other denizens.

Not to mention there were no good reasons to lock them in the first place as they don't violate any of the rules.
the meme started to get old, but it's kinda bs that it died within the first 14 hours of it's existence.

XXVIII was made to allow criticism as you do now. It doesn't cover violation of quality, and if it did, then spam would fall under it and we can't have that.
I'll have to side with Tad here.
By your definition, abraker. "YELLING THREAD", ITT2 and "SHITPOSTING THREAD" can also be considered as spam.
Besides, I'm not going to state the obvious about the culture of OT, as you should already know it.
So you are implying I should lock those too, right?
Yep. By your very own definition.

Quality is subjective. if people are participating in a thread, who are you to decide what is and isnt quality? forget your fancy schmancy lock button, you're just a regular shitposter like anyone else here- not some arbiter of quality. If you think that just picking a thread or two a day to lock because it isnt as good as the rest is acceptable behavior, i don't believe you should be a .

/opinion
Here is where things get complicated:
- ITT2 is known as the oldfag safe heaven. To lock it is like severing links
- YELLING THREAD does a very good of containing any the stuff it was made for, well at least on paper. It's debatable
- Shitpost thread... well maybe that deserves a lock, but it's been up for such a long time it's approaching ITT3 status

Ultimately it's culturally complicated to lock those
You do realize that Suisei threads gathered cultural value (even if it's just minority) too?
ya know what we missing? A poll. OR better yet OT Court III

yea

I'd like an OT Court III tho. I miss OT Court

Stop making a joke out of this, you aren't being funny abbykun. A lot of people here have a lot of love and respect for you, please be more cautious when doing your job.
I've now made the executive decision to keep ITT2, Yelling Thread, and Shitpost thread around.

For now
someone have pop-corn please?

Incorrect; i hold that standard globally. The fight against vtuber threads was mostly a meme. I can see how that'd go over your head tho- try being involved a little more instead of just lurking and posting sarcastic comments. ^^

To clarify- my problem was with vtuber spam. Tads church thread was never a problem.

You can't call the churches VTUBER spam, each VTUBER had it's each thread (which is a lot, once it got to spamming rate start locking some), and people enjoyed posting in it.

If you don't enjoy VTUBER churches, doesn't mean they should be locked.

Try a little harder please.

to phrase what that post meant to say in the most direct i can manage:

V-tuber threads = w/e. annoying but i'd never seriously recommend they be locked based on subject matter (or any thread for that matter). they just suck

V-tuber spam (basically any meah post) = kill it with fire.
