I personally hink he should have a fate worse than exile, but exile is an ok place to start.

I have locked this thread as its nothing else than ganging up on one member of the community, which is not the sort of thing that anyone should do on osu!. Exiling someone from Off-Topic is entirely up to moderation and shouldn't be decided on in this way.
Since this is not the first post regarding this topic I will give a fair warning: This topic has to stop, else anyone pushing it is at a heavy risk of catching themself a silence. If the in question is breaking any rules feel free to report them by using the report button or by ing your of choice directly.

I believe I have a somewhat decent view on the situation so I guess I can express my opinion here, if you don't mind.

I see a bunch of people ganging up against one person for reasons outside of the scope of the game (eg. discord servers and off-platform activity). If you believe there is an issue with his "naughty" activity outside of what the staff can see, feel free to report the matter to [email protected] with all the proof you have.
Necroing posts by itself is annoying and I guess some may jump on the gun quicker than others, but at the end of the day it can easily be cleaned afterwards. The whole exile mechanic doesn't even look much of a deterrent for whoever wants to really annoy people in here anyway (they can go at it even after a long silence anyway).

Let me just say that this being OT is sort of a weird area by itself, so people getting too much annoyed to necroes that they want someone "exiled" looks like overreacting to me. Also, I can understand voicing your opinion, but at the end of the day it's one party (you guys) against another party (this guy), so you gathering votes doesn't amount to much and the decision falls on the staff anyway. Stuff like "this post will decide his fate" looks overly dramatic and out of place imo.

It might be because of the word "exile", but doing that for necro posts sounds dumb to me, sorry.
As someone who hardly comes in here, it all seems like you guys ballooning the matter out of proportions.
